The transaction cost is composed of two areas: The bottom fee plus the suggestion. The bottom cost is "burned" (deleted from existence) and the idea goes towards the block proposer. The validator reward together with the ideas give the motivation to validators to help keep the blockchain escalating (i.e. to maintain processing new transactions). Co
